Hi there! I'm Blake. I'm a software engineer and writer based in Brooklyn. I grew up in Richardson, Texas. I have degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago in business and computer science, respectively. I currently work at Squarespace as a software engineer. Prior to Squarespace, I worked at Rockerbox for five years in product and engineering roles.

I love trekking, reading, and tinkering. I used to be a distance swimmer - I competed for Michigan and at the 2016 US Olympic team trials in the 1500m freestyle. I wrote and self-published a family history book called Lives and Fates that you can read on my blog.
